Client Overview
The client is a PE owned $3.5B medical device company with presence in APAC, Europe, and the US. The organization was formed after a series of acquisitions over the past couple of years and currently employees more than 10,000 employees globally.
Situation
The company is on a digital transformation journey and focusing on modernizing its enterprise solutions to reduce operating expense and technical debt. The company has selected Concur T&E solution to replace 4 different expense solutions across the US, Europe and APAC and individual travel management solutions.
Our Engagement
Our SMEs were brought in by the company to evaluate multiple travel and expense solutions across the global and replace it with more modern and cost-effective T&E solution
Key Activities:
Evaluated independent travel and expense solutions, compared the cost and functionalities against SAP Concur application and built a business case to consolidate the regional/individual tools
Once SAP Concur was selected as a preferred tool, negotiated pricing based on the business requirements and helped build an implementation and service management contract with the SAP team
Developed a project plan and orchestrated the implementation of Concur Travel and Expense Management across the US, Europe, and APAC
Built integrations between other critical systems (i.e. HR, and Finance) to deliver the integrated solutions for travel and expense management across the organization
Spearheaded the adoption of Concur tool across the three regions and resolved go-live issues for a smooth cutover.
