Client Overview

Client is a Fortune 500 member that is a leader in the retail financial advice market and the nation’s largest independent broker/dealer with $7B in revenue and $1.2T assets under management

Situation

The Client's technology organization was dedicating substantial time and resources to manually creating retrospective status reports for Technology Domain CIOs for visibility. These reports were aggregated from various data sources, leading to inconsistencies across different technology domains. Fragmentation made it challenging to consume the reports efficiently and track value effectively across the organization.

Our Engagement

Our team conducted informational interviews with technology employees across the organization to identify key pain points and gathered detailed requirements from CIOs managing the most critical products.

These pain points and CIO needs were then translated into comprehensive technical requirements, which were used to build a well-defined product roadmap.

The team then created data connectors to Jira and other relevant platforms to ensure seamless integration and consistency in reporting.

The Minimum Viable Product (MVP) was developed in Microsoft Power BI. Feedback from early beta users was then incorporated to refine and enhance the solution.

Our team coordinated change management by crafting clear communications and user guides, ensuring that the user base was well-educated and prepared for the rollout of the CIO Dashboard.
