Developing a transformation office OpModel

Client summary:

  • A regional healthcare provider whose digital capabilities, services, and products are key differentiators in the marketplace.

Situation:

  • Our client, a newly appointed Chief Transformation Officer, was tasked with transforming the organization from within. Her first task was to clearly articulate the ‘why’ of her mission, and outline the importance of its success. 

Complication:

  • Our client was hand selected for this role and needed to pull together a robust plan on short notice.

Aberdeen engagement:

  • Aberdeen was tasked with crafting the Transformation Office strategy, and assisting with the storytelling to build excitement around its creation - both from executive leadership and the broader organization. 

Outcome:

  • As part of the engagement, Aberdeen was able to:

    • Clearly define the ‘why’ for the transformation office

    • Create ‘pitch’ materials that were shared with C-level to build support and raise awareness of its mission

    • Outline a 30-60-90 day plan to define & aim the necessary initiatives to hit the ground running
